It is a water-based fluid at a mild pH of 6 to 8, built on a glycol ether solvent blend with alkylpolyglycoside surfactants that lift dirt, dust, and road film so the wipers clear the glass in one pass. The alcohol is 2-propanol (isopropyl alcohol) rather than methanol, the lower-cost alcohol used in many bulk washer fluids. For shops that store and dispense fluid on site every day, that choice keeps methanol out of the building. One drum fills 55 one-gallon reservoir top-offs at $3.82 per gallon, with no mixing and no dilution math at the pump.

Key Features

Ready to use straight from the drum. Do not dilute. Fit the drum with a hand or electric drum pump, or a drum faucet with the drum on a cradle, and fill vehicle washer reservoirs to the fill line at every oil change, inspection, detail, or lot check, and any time a vehicle's low washer fluid indicator is on. To stock service bays or vehicles, transfer the fluid into clean, labeled 1-gallon jugs. In climates where temperatures drop below freezing, switch fleet vehicles to a winter formula for the cold months and return to this fluid in spring.

The same cleaning base is also available with a water-repellent silicone film in the Bug Remover Windshield Washer Fluid 55-Gallon Drum.

Commercial Specifications

Drum size: 55 gallons with standard 2" and 3/4" bungs

Drum weight: Approximately 550 lbs (product + container)

Pallet: 4 drums per pallet, forklift accessible, approximately 2,200 lbs total

pH: 6 to 8

Color: Clear blue

Dilution: None.
