Marine Wash Cleaner: Wax-Safe Boat Soap for Routine Washes

MA5X Marine Wash Cleaner is a concentrated, high-foaming boat soap formulated for routine maintenance washes on real boats. It lifts salt, grime, oils, and everyday buildup from hulls, decks, and interiors without stripping existing wax or polish, so you can wash as often as you need to without working against your last detail. It is the red, cherry-scented soap in our lineup, easy to tell apart from its yellow wash-and-wax sibling.

This is a wash-only formula. It cleans thoroughly and rinses streak-free, but it does not deposit a wax layer. If you want cleaning and wax protection in one step, use our Boat Soap Wash & Wax instead.

How to Use

Add a small amount to a bucket of water and agitate to build a rich foam. Wash from top to bottom using a soft mitt or brush, rinsing the mitt frequently. Rinse the boat thoroughly with fresh water and dry with a microfiber towel or chamois to reduce water spots. For best results, wash in the shade and keep the surface cool throughout.

What It Works On

Safe for fiberglass, gel coat, vinyl, plastics, and metals when used as directed. Effective in fresh and saltwater environments.

Safe Handling

Signal word: Warning. Avoid contact with eyes. If eye contact occurs, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. No PPE is required under normal use conditions. Keep out of reach of children. pH 9-11, non-flammable.
