MA5X Vinyl Shine & Protectant in the 55-Gallon Drum is the same Eco Marine formula sold in our 32 oz spray bottle, packed for commercial volume. It is a silicone-based cleaner and protectant built on a poly(dimethylsiloxane) emulsion blend. After the water carrier evaporates, the silicone forms an odorless protective film that gives boat vinyl, rubber, and plastics a glossy finish and UV protection between washes, in one spray and wipe step. One drum refills 220 of our 32 oz spray bottles at $3.56 per refill, or $14.24 per gallon, so a detail crew or marina service department can run every boat in its care from one container.
Dispensing & Application
Mix the drum before dispensing with a drum mixer or by rolling the drum, since the formula is an emulsion. Transfer into clean, labeled spray bottles with a hand or electric drum pump. Shake each spray bottle before use. Spray directly onto the surface or onto a clean microfiber towel, spread evenly, and wipe dry. For a cleaner finish, follow with a second dry towel and buff lightly. Apply to cool, clean surfaces out of direct sun. Reapply on seating, cushions, and helm surfaces at each scheduled wash or detail, and before a vessel goes into storage or out on charter.
Marine Use Guide
Surfaces this product is made for:
- Vinyl seating, cushions, and bolsters: Spray onto a microfiber towel, work across the panel, and buff dry for an even gloss.
- Rubber trim, gaskets, and fender lines: Wipe on a thin coat to bring back a uniform dark finish.
- Plastics, consoles, and storage lids: Use on helm panels, cup holders, hatch lids, and interior trim.
- Fiberglass and chrome accents: Wipe on and buff dry for a glossy finish.
- Sealed or finished wood accents: Use as directed, applied with a towel rather than sprayed directly.
Where to keep it off:
- Walking surfaces: Keep product off non-skid decks, swim platforms, steps, ladder treads, and boarding areas. Wipe up any overspray from these areas right away.
- Grip surfaces: Keep product off steering wheels, throttle and shift handles, and grab rails.
- Glass, clear vinyl windows, and electronics screens: Mask or apply by towel near windshields, isinglass enclosures, chartplotters, and displays.

55-gallon drums ship via LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight, and rates are calculated at checkout based on pallet weight and delivery destination. Up to 4 drums fit on a single pallet at approximately 2,200 lbs total, so ordering a full pallet lowers your freight cost per drum. This product is not regulated for DOT or IMDG transport, which simplifies receiving, storage, and compliance documentation at your facility. Local pickup is available at no charge from our Coral Springs, FL facility (4105 NW 124th Avenue) Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm. Allow up to 2 business days for drum preparation. Wear eye protection when pumping or transferring from the drum and when spraying in enclosed cabin areas. If eye contact occurs, rinse cautiously with water for at least 15 minutes, remove contact lenses if present and easy to do, and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Keep out of reach of children. Contain spills with absorbent material and dispose of in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
